Hauling Rock and Copper in the North County

This page will eventually host my summary of the Mineral Range Railroad's (MRRR) history.  However, I have not had a chance to start it.  Meanwhile, I recommend you read Monette's The Mineral Range Railroad (1993) or Schaddelee's article (1982a) and Campbell's article (1980) on the MRRR.  What I do have to offer here and now are the following two photographs of MRRR locomotives and equipment.  I had these reproduced so that I could get a better idea of the lettering used on MRRR equipment.   If you want clearer photographs of these images, then please contact the Michigan Technological University Archives and Copper Country Historical Collections.  The address and telephone number for this fine institution can be found on my References page.
